Last night, Polk County Law Enforcement Memorial Fund Chairman Ricky Newman and Board Member Luke Dickerson presented commendations to Winter Haven Police Chief Vance Monroe and Detective Ronald Jackson.
Their work helped ensure the legacy of Sgt. Luther Thomas Howard was properly recognized, and his name added to the Memorial.
We are grateful for their dedication to preserving the memory of Polk County’s fallen heroes. Those who made the ultimate sacrifice must never be forgotten.
